The two-day match between Rajasthan Cricket Association’s Centre of Excellence team and visiting Australia has been drawn. Today on the second and last day of the practice match, the Rajasthan team got bundled out for 122 runs in their first innings. Visiting side won the toss yesterday and chose to bat first. However, Australian batsmen failed to impress in their first competitive cricket in the tour and Australia got all out for 218 in their first innings. At the end of the first day, Rajasthan Cricket Association’s Centre of Excellence team reached 38 for 2 with Gagan Khoda and Venugopal Rao batting on 18 each.

Brett Lee picked up the wicket of Venugopal Rao early in the morning today and soon after Venugopal’s dismissal, Gagan Khoda also went back to the pavilion on 33, becoming the only victim of Peter Siddle in the match. In the middle order, Robin Bist tried to build up the innings, but all of his effort went to vain as no other Rajasthan batsmen could stand in. The young batsman scored innings highest 34 before getting out off left arm pacer Doug Bollinger.

Spinner Jason Krejza and Doug Bollinger picked up three wickets each for Australia. Brett Lee bagged two wickets, while Stuart Clark and Peter Siddle took a wicket each.
