Student should know that government college Ajmer is the premier higher education institute of India. Famous nationally and internationally as its nick name ‘gca’ is 170 years old institution of India. At present 7428 students are enrolled and has long chain of students enrolled since 170 years of its history.

Courses available:

All the three faculty arts, science and commerce have students studying for their carrier development. Law faculty has been given the status of separate college only from this session. In arts there are 14 subjects for graduate courses along with honours in 4 subjects. At post graduate level there are 11 subjects along with research facilities and in four subjects M.phil course is available. In science graduate and post graduate courses are available in 5 subjects. Honours course is available in chemistry. In all the five subjects m.phil courses are also available. In commerce graduate and post graduate courses are available in three subjects. Research facility is available in all these three subjects. In accountancy and business statistics honours course is available. In economic administration and financial management M.phil course is running.
