Luna Maya and Cut Tari to be investigated in Ariel Irham’s case
Indonesian pop singer Nazril ‘Ariel’ Irham has been convicted to three and a half years in prison after posting explicit material on the internet; and reports state that his girlfriend Luna Maya will be under the eye of investigators. Ariel had posted a video of him having sex with his girlfriend Luna (an Indonesian television actress) on the internet, and also a clip of him with a former girlfriend.
Inspector General Anton Bachrul Alam said that they would further investigate the case on Luna as well as Cut Tari, Ariel’s ex-girlfriend. “What they did is related with Ariel. The investigators will definitely make a move since [Ariel] was found guilty today,” Anton said.
Along with a three and a half year conviction, Ariel was fined Rp 250 million on Monday.
Th singer surrendered in the month of June and has been behind bars ever since then, after he was found guilty of posting explicit material on the internet. According to sources, the actresses were initially not arrested as they had fully cooperated in the investigations.
