Singh is Kinng will be screened at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival
Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Singh is Kinng has become one of the highest grossing movies in Bollywood. Now, the movie has been chosen to be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival 2008. The movie is chosen for one of the eleven gala presentations that would be shown at The Roy Thomson Hall on September 7, 2008. Screen India reports:
Singh Is Kinng finds itself in august company with ten celebrated top-notch Hollywood titles that include Kate Beckinsale- David Schwimmer starrer Nothing But the Truth, Edward Norton-Colin Farrell starrer Pride and Glory and George Clooney-Brad Pitt starrer Burn After Reading amongst others.
Tickets to the gala are always in high demand, being high-profile star-studded events. The Singh Is Kinng celebration at the festival is tipped to be attended by Sandeep Bhargava, CEO of the investment adviser to Indian Films, producer Vipul A. Shah, director Anees Bazmee, and lead actors, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.
Founded in 1976, Toronto International Film Festival is considered to be one of the top film festivals in the world. Surely, it is a great achievement for the makers of Singh is Kinng. Among other Bollywood movies that were screened at the festival are: Water, Kabul Express, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.
