Shahana Goswami and Randeep Hooda in Ru-Ba-Ru
Do you know Shahana Goswami? Well, for your reminder, she recently did a supporting role in Farhan Akhtar’s movie, Rock On!! She played the character of Debbie, Joe Mascarenhas’ (Arjun Rampal) wife. Shahana Goswami started her career in theatres, although she did not appear in any play, she learned so many things. In her debut movie, Naseeruddin Shah directed Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota, she did a small role which was followed by Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd and Rock On!!. After doing small roles, Shahana finally got the chance to play the female lead in Percept Picture Company’s upcoming movie, Ru-Ba-Ru. In the movie, Shahana Goswami is paired up with Randeep Hooda. Ru-Ba-Ru tells the story of a couple in a live-in relationship.
Well, this is not the first movie in Bollywood to show live-in relationship on the screen. We also had movies like Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Salaam Namaste that dealt with this subject. Still, Shahana Goswami is very happy with the way things are turning out for her. She says:
“Whatever one does well, it is bound to get noticed. Even if all I had to myself were small roles, I didn’t have any reason to complain. I worked with some very senior and talented actors and I learnt so much,â€
Well, we are eagerly waiting for Ru-Ba-Ru. In the meantime, we wish good luck to Shahana Goswami.
