Karan Johar changes the ending of Dostana
It looks like in Bollywood Aamir Khan is not the only perfectionist. Karan Johar recently reshot the whole climax sequence of his upcoming comedy flick, Dostana. He was not happy with the way director Tarun Mansukhani treated the whole scene. realbollywood.com reports:
“Karan was never too happy with the end of the flick as he felt it lacked the ‘It’ factor. Few weeks back, Karan saw the climax shot by his protégé, Tarun Mansukhani who debuts as a director with his ‘Dostana’. He was visibly upset and didn’t like one bit the way Tarun treated the scenes. Karan found something sorely missing. That’s when he immediately decided to re shoot the entire climax. But instead of going back to Miami to shoot it again, he got it shot in Mumbai’s Goregaon Filmcity.”
When it comes to making movies, Karan Johar is known to be a fastidious person. He pays attention even to the minutest details. In his fist movie, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, he chose all the dresses of Shah Rukh Khan. Karan Johar is not directing Dostana, but he overlooks everything. Now, the million dollar question is- Will Dostana become a successful movie after all these shootings and reshootings?
