Google with a Venture-Capital Arm: What about investing in Blogs?

There are reports that Google is serious about having a VC Arm. Wall Street Journal reported this matter and then I found an analysis in Gigaom: Google Eyeing a VC Arm? Written by Stacey Higginbotham. Well, Stacey Higginbotham is not upbeat about this matter. She thinks that it may not bring too much for Google.

I was thinking about the bloggers. I know that there are many bloggers who have brilliant ideas and they are eager to work hard to succeed. Many of them do not have the capital and also some of them don’t know about the technology either. So, may be, Google bosses can think about investing some money in the blogosphere. Or even better that Google can invest in blog networks. I am sure that some bloggers and blog network owners would love to have Google as its partner.
