‘Drona’ and ‘Kidnap’ Hindi movie are flop
Finally, the junta gave their verdict. Both Drona and Kidnap Hindi movie are flop. The two high profile movies were released on the Eid day in India. In order to catch up with the audience in the Middle East and UK, Kidnap Hindi movie was released on October 1, 2008. Unfortunately, none of the movies could deliver what they promised.
Kidnap Hindi movie, which is the second movie of Aamir Khan’s nephew, Imran Khan, lacked a strong story. The movie was able to create good hype among the viewers. Imran Khan played the role of a kidnapper named Kabir, who kidnapped Sonia (Minissha Lamba), daughter of a New York based Indian billionaire, Vikrant Raina (Sanjay Dutt). The movie was directed by Sanjay Gadhvi, who directed superhit movies like Dhoom and Dhoom2. The script of the movie was poorly written and the overall story did not have the oomph! factor to keep the viewers glued to their seats till the end.
On the other hand, Drona is a fantasy movie where Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra played the central characters. Though the movie has been labeled as a fantasy movie, Abhishek Bachchan’s role was almost similar to that of a super hero and he fails to play the role. Abhishek Bachchan lacks the necessary physique to play the character of a superhero. People did not accept him in the character of ‘Drona’ a sword wielding warrior, who fights this evil magician named Riz Raizada. However, director of the movie, Goldie Behl has already decided from the very beginning that, hit or flop, he would make a sequel of Drona. I hope, Goldie Behl becomes successful this time.
