In Billo Barber, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen mingling with three ladies: Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra.
Kareena Kapoor did an item song like she did in Shah Rukh starrer Don. It is one of the major highlights of the movie.
“Kareena’s song is crucial to the story of BILLOO BARBER. Like Kareena’s famous song in DON which people still remember similarly people will never forget the BILLOO BARBER number too. Kareena’s name will become synonymous with the number.”
Deepika Padukone also did a song with Shah Rukh khan which was written by Gulzar and choreographed by Farah Khan.
In the beginning, Priyadarshan offered the roles to Akshay Kumar, Irrfan Khan and Tabu. Tabu refused to do the movie because she thought that her role was not so significant and she did not want to work with Irrfan Khan. Later, Shah Rukh Khan and Amisha Patel were approached and they agreed initially. Amisha Patel withdrew because she thought that the role was minuscule. News reports came out that Juhi Chawla had been chosen for playing the role of Billo Barber’s (Irrfan Khan) wife. In April, Priyadarshan announced that Lara Dutta would play the role.
