Bollywood’s living legend, Dev Anand, is going to make a Hindi movie titled, Chargesheet. Dev Anand is also playing a small character in the movie. He is going to play the role of a CBI officer. The 84-year old actor was in high spirits; unfortunately, other younger actors lost interest in the project.

Sameer Kochchar, who is playing a negative role in the movie walked out due to date clash but he was signed for the movie long time ago. At that time, he did not show any interest but he gave his approval as he did not want displease Dev Anand. Later, he decided not to work in the project. Sameer Kochchar said:

“I’m no more part of Chargesheet. I’m not doing it. I have a lot of films for which I had already committed and am not able to adjust my dates for Dev saab’s film,”

Sameer might have walked out of the movie but Dev Anand praised Sameer Kochchar a lot. He believed that Sameer Kochchar’s physique and ‘expressive eyes’ made him an ideal candidate for playing villain in his movie. Another prominent actor, who wanted to remain anonymous, said that Dev Anand also approached him but he did not accept the movie. Aside from Dev Anand, Chargesheet also stars Jackie Shroff and a group of new faces.
