IPL bans Ravindra Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja has been banned by the Indian Premier League (IPL) for a year and will not be able to play in the third season of IPL beginning from March 12.
Jadeja was a part of Rajasthan Royals team and he was not interested to sign the renewal contract for the third season of IPL and found bargaining with other franchisee for more money.
IPL Chairman and Commissioner Lalit Modi said the decision was taken after taking into account Jadeja’s representation to the BCCI president and a further representation by the Rajasthan Royals.
He signed contract for Rajasthan Royals in 2008 as an under 19 player and played in the first two seasons of the IPL. He signed only 1 year contract and his contract expired last December, he started bargaining with other teams without the consent of his team, now the Royals did not mention him in the team this year.
