Shweta Kumar Twisted Her Leg while Shooting for ‘Karzzzz’

Debutant Bollywood actress Shweta Kumar, who will see her Bollywood launch through Himesh Reshammiya starrer ‘Karzzzz,’ has now become the centre of all attention ahead of the release of ‘Karzzzz’ on 17 October 2008. ‘Karzzzz,’ directed by Satish Kaushik, is a remake of 1980’s hit Bollywood movie Karz starring Rishi Kapoor, Simi Garewal and Tina Munim. ‘Karzzzz’ features Himesh Reshammiya, Shweta Kumar and Urmila Matondkar. Shweta Kumar will be seen playing the same role that Tina Munim played in the original movie. Today, I searched about Shweta Kumar in internet, but to be honest, I did not find a lot of information about her that I can share with you. However, here I am sharing with you an incident that happened during the shooting of ‘Karzzzz’ in South Africa.

You might already know that most of the shooting of ‘Karzzzz’ was done in South Africa and the incident happened during the shooting. While filming the dance score for the song “Soniye Je Tere,” Shweta Kumar twisted her leg severely. In fact, this was the first dancing shot in her career. However, fortunately there was no fracture in her leg and she completed her part next day.

Producer Bhushan Kumar from T-Series adds, “It was very unfortunate that something like this happened to Shweta. Her right leg dislocated and she just collapsed on the sets. We called the doctor and she had to put plaster on her leg. Luckily, it wasn”t a fracture but a severe sprain.

Himesh Reshammiya, who plays the male lead role in the movie ‘Karzzzz,’ praised Shweta Kumar for continuing shooting next day with plaster, despite feeling pain in the injured leg. It sounds very professional and this is, of course, a very good quality for a newcomer like Shweta Kumar.
