Mughda Godse was wrong about Kangna Ranaut and Priyanka Chopra
‘Fashion’ Hindi movie is model-turned-actress Mugdha Godse’s first movie. The movie is directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, one of the most prominent directors in India, who made movies like Traffic Signal, Corporate, and Page 3. Obviously, Mugdha Godse is very much excited about her first movie as she is working under a famous director.
Madhur Bhandarkar used to go to the fashion shows to get a better understanding of the fashion industry. During the shows, he used to come at the backstage and came to meet with Mugdha Godse. The next step was offering her a movie role and she instantly agreed.
In ‘Fashion’ Hindi movie, Mugdha Godse worked with Priyanka Chopra and Kangna Ranaut. She thought that these actresses would be arrogant as they were established stars but her apprehension proved to be wrong. She said:
“I thought they would be snooty and snobs as they were all established actors and I was a newbie. But after I gave my first shot, they clapped and cheered for a long time saying ‘Welcome to the industry’. That was a breath-taking moment which I shall never forget in my entire life!â€
Though her debut movie was very much related to her field of profession, it did not help Mugdha Godse to portray her character on the screen. In ‘Fashion’ Hindi movie, Mugdha Godse’s character, ‘Janet,’ is an unsuccessful model where in real life Mugdha is a successful model. The movie will be released in Diwali Weekend.
