According to NRI Punjabi pop singer, Kulwinder Kally, the song titled, “Soniye Je Tere†is a song of his album, which was released four years earlier. Himesh Reshammiya is vehemently refuted the claim. Kulwinder Kally said:
“This song is being sung by Himesh but this is actually my song. It came out in my cassette ‘Sham Wali Gaddi’ which I had released around 4 years back. Himesh has stolen this song from my cassette. I demand the removal of this song from the film. I have sent them a legal notice and charged them with 5 crore.”
Kulwinder Kally also said that the song was originally written by a Pakistani lyricist, Shaonki Khan. Kulwinder Kally also said that he owns the copyright of this song. He warned Himesh Reshammiya and Sameer that they have to remove the song from the album within the next 15 days.
