I am Razib Ahmed and I welcome you to this blog SouthAsiaFair. The first thing that comes to my mind about myself is that for many many years, I am writing for money and for passion. I have done all kind of writings- journalism, ghost writing, translating, radio writing, TV writing, short story, long story, reporting and what not. However, I really found my place in the world of blogging. I created my first blog in July 2005. Well, that time, I had no idea about blogging and even I did not know how to create a hyperlink in an entry.

Fortunately, In March 2006,I got a break with Know More Media as they hired me to write for SouthAsiaBiz.com blog (about South Asian Business). Mehdi Hassan (my co-blogger) joined me 3 months later. We worked hard for Know More Media Network and made SouthAsiaBiz perhaps one of the most successful blogs in the network. Then, Know More Media closed down its business for the bloggers and I moved to Cosmo Fair Network.

It was Bill Belew who came up with the idea of Cosmo Fair Blog Network. Bill is a great Blogger and I happily joined him to build the network from the scratch. Building a network is perhaps one of the most difficult things in the world. However, Bill has a great ability of making everything look very easy.

Fortunately, I have my 3 assistants with me in this network. I have already mentioned Mehdi Hassan. He is a full time Blogger like me. Then there is Biplob Kishore Deb. He worked in one of my personal blogs, Techtainment. It has received 1.5 million page views in the last two years and right now, it has 1,000 Feedburner readers. Biplob is very hard working and he is crazy for Cricket. Mehdi, Biplob and I are trying our best to make SouthAsiafair.com a successful blog at the shortest possible of time.

Animesh Chandra Bain is working for the technical parts of this blog. Animesh has been working with me since January 2005. He has a good hand in photography and he is skilled in graphics design.

So, this is my team and we are working very hard for Cosmo Fair Network (CFN). The good thing is that all four of us love to work everyday.

I am happily married since May 2006 and my wife takes care of everything at home so that I can work full time in blogging. However, my wife is also a successful Blogger with her laptop blog. It is my good luck that I found a very supportive and loving wife.

I have to work with some big limitations. I have a very slow internet connection 2-5 KBPS. Nevertheless, I enjoy blogging. I try to read about blogging and about the topics I write. I write in different blogs about different things. I love my work.
