Synopsis: Alright. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is truly an exceptional romantic movie, in the sense that it shows the love story between teenage girl and 40 year old GUY! Sounds very weird but in countries like India, Bangladesh, Pakistan this is very common. The story of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is the story of Surinder Sahni (Shahrukh Khan) and Taani (Anushka Sharma). Surinder Sahni is a very average Indian guy. He is an honest, hard working man who works in Punjab Power. Call it destination or twist, Surinder Sahni gets married to this 18 year old girl, Taani, who is young energetic and full of life. Due to their huge age difference, the couple finds it very difficult to have a normal relationship. Oneday, Surinder overhears Taani that she wants to participate in a popular dance reality show, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Taani wants to participate in the show but she is afraid to do so. Since her husband is not very stylish and hip, he would not enjoy dancing and they would lose the show and it would make Taani a laughing stock among her friends. After hearing this, Shah Rukh undergoes a serious make over. Surinder and Taani then participate in the show. As the competition goes on, Taani gradually gets attracted to Surinder.
