FIITJEE, a popular coaching institute for the IIT-JEE aspirants, recently organized a talent support exam named “’FIITJEE Talent Support Examination (FTSE) 2008” across 36 cities in India simultaneously. The result of the FIITJEE talent support exam is scheduled to be published today (9 October 2008) at the official website of FIITJEE. Well, I visited the their official website and I came to know that FTSE 2008 result will be announced at 9.00PM on 9th November 2008 in the official website of FIITJEE. On the basis of the FTSE 2008 result, top 300 students, aspiring to join any of the IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) through IIT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2009, will receive both financial help as well as online help in their preparation for IIT JEE 2009 exam, even without having to join FIITJEE coaching institute.

The student ranked 1st in the exam conducted by FIITJEE will be given Rs1,50,000, while the second and third placed students will receive Rs90,000 and Rs60,000 respectively. FIITJEE organizes this talent search exam every year with a view to helping IIT-JEE aspirants to assess their preparation for IIT-JEE exam. IIT-JEE 2009 is scheduled to take place on April 12, 2009.

FTSE 2008 exam consisted of three papers including one subjective type and two objective types. Through this exam the aspirants of IIT-JEE 2009 will be able to realize their current level of preparation ahead of the IIT-JEE 2009 exam. Students can apply for the IIT-JEE 2009 exam through online as well as off line. The exam will be based on two papers, consisting of objective type questions on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

In this technology-based world, it is really important for Indian economy to be more diversified. At this moment, outsourcing export is perhaps the backbone of Indian economy and the good side of IT outsourcing is that it creates thousands of jobs for educated people. The bad news is that there is global economic recession and there is fear that budget of IT can decrease for many American companies. If it happens then it will be a very bad disaster for India because many jobs will be at stake.

In Indian culture, education is considered to be very important. Millions of people are still illiterate. You may think that illiteracy only exists in rural areas. However, you should know that million of people living in the big cities do not have any access to education. So, exams like FTSE are very important and passing this exam can really make a difference in the life of many young people. This kind of exam can really help the young aspiring generation to become better prepared for the IT world.

DNA India reported:

The institute is conducting talent support exam (FTSE) across 36 cities in the country from October 19 in an effort to help serious IIT-JEE aspirants who can get their probable ranks in securing a seat in the IITs through the Rank Potential Index (RPI) and Success Potential index (SPI) obtained in the all India level assessment exam.

This is really a good initiative taken by FIITJEE because this exam, I think, would really help and inspire the young IIT-Zee aspirants to be involved in IT world.

Indiaedunews reported:

The examination was held with three papers – one subjective type and two objective types to test the student’s comprehensive knowledge of the subject.

The examination meant to enable students of class XII to get an accurate assessment of their preparations for IIT-JEE 2009.
