Canon Communications LLC observes high attendance at its advanced manufacturing exhibitions.
Despite global economic slowdown, Canon Communications LLC, a leading media company is seeing increasing incoming of visitors at its “advanced manufacturing exhibition series” organized around the world. Due to the current economic slow down, business community around the world has lost interest which affected many business-to-business trade shows in recent times. In the middle of such financial crisis, Canon Communications LLC has surely arranged some successful exhibitions. Now, the company has acquired new events and it is going to launch these events in France, Germany and Japan next year and all the trade shows will be done on “advanced manufacturing sector.” Market Watch.com reports:
A 5% increase in attendance to its full-facility, co-located event — held in February 2008 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California — which includes Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) West, WestPack, Pacific Design & Manufacturing (PDM), Electronics West, PLASTEC West, Automation Technology Expo (ATX) West, and a Green Manufacturing Expo.
A 2% increase in attendance to its co-located event — held in June 2008 at the Javits Convention Center in New York — which includes MD&M East, EastPack, Atlantic Design & Manufacturing (ADM), PLASTEC East, Automation Technology Expo (ATX) East, and a Green Manufacturing Expo.
The company also observed a 3% increase in attendance to it co-located MD&M Minneapolis and MidPak event held in October at the Minneapolis Convention Center. It also observed a 30% attendance increase to its Advanced Manufacturing UK event and 8% increase to its 2008 edition of the BIOMEDevice exposition. Last year, the company’s co-located events in California and New York were honored by Trade Show Executive magazine as two of the 100 largest shows in the U.S.
