Mugdha Godse is confident that her hard work will pay off.
The upcoming Friday will be a special day for the model-turned-actress, Mugdha Godse. It will mark almost a year for the actress in Bollywood and within this long time, she did not work in other movies except, ‘Fashion’ Hindi movie. It is not that she did not get any offer. Rather, she has got several but turned down most of them. Instead of doing so many movies at one point in time, Mugdha Godse gave all her focus on one movie, ‘Fashion’ Hindi movie. She said:
“Howsoever tempting an offer may seem, there is no reason why I should be looking at any other film but FASHION as my debut vehicle”, declares Mugdha who is supposed to be playing the role of a popular real life model, “Not many people get a platform like this to make a first impression and even though it would be only towards the year end that my effort would be noticed, I am quite sure it is going to be worth it.”
Madhur Bhandarkar is not famous for making commercial movies but serious cinema. Mugdha Godse was very well aware of his reputation and she wanted to live up to his expectations. Before starting to work in the movie, she took an acting course in Anupam Kher’s academy. Besides, in ‘Fashion’ Hindi movie, she is working with two other most reputed actresses-Kangana Ranaut and Priyanka Chopra. If she loses her focus, it will be more visible on the screen. Hence, she did not allow any kind of distraction and worked only on one movie. Mugdha Godse is confident that her hard work will pay off in the end.
