Madhuri Dixit in ‘Tezaab’
Whenever I think of 90s Bollywood, the first name that pops up in my mind is Madhuri Dixit. Back then, I was a teenager with raging hormones and the first Bollywood actress that caught my imagination was Madhuri Dixit. I think those of you who were teenagers like me also had this PROBLEM. Well, I do not see why it should not happen. Madhuri Dixit was the most successful heroines in the 90s Bollywood. Today, the media may dance and roll over with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and compare her with Madhuri Dixit, but unfortunately, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is no where near Madhuri Dixit. Madhuri Dixit is Madhuri Dixit. There was no one like her and there will be no one.
The first movie of Madhuri Dixit I watched was Tezaab. Yes, I liked the movie. I liked Madhuri Dixit and Anil Kapoor but what I most remembered was the last scene where Mohini (Madhuri Dixit) and Munna (Anil Kapoor) meets and Mohini kisses Munna like crazy. I think it was very very romantic. Aside from that, Madhuri Dixit just looked great althrough the movie. Tezaab was inspired from Hollywood movie, Streets of Fire (1984).
