After Eid, it is time to prepare for Diwali. On Diwali weekend, three movies are going to release: Golmaal Returns, ‘Fashion’ Hindi movie, and ‘Emi’ Hindi movie. ‘Fashion’ Hindi movie is directed by three times National Movie Award winning director, Madhur Bhandarkar. It is the most expensive movie of his career. On October 29, 2008, ‘Fashion’ Hindi movie will be released in 700 prints around the world, which is also the biggest release of the director till date. Madhur Bhandarkar said:

“Fashion is turning out to be a big film in all ways. Feedback has been unprecedented and the success of the film’s music has further enhanced it’s visibility. We all are super charged about the prospects of Fashion and are bringing it at 700 prints which includes India as well as Overseas count.”

Rohit Shetty’s ‘Golmaal’ sequel, ‘Golmaal Returns,’ is just the right kind of movie to celebrate Diwali . This also means, ‘Fashion’ Hindi movie is going to face serious competition. However, Madhur Bhandarkar is not worried about competition. He said that ‘Fashion’ Hindi movie has its own audience.

Madhur Bhandarkar’s mentor, Ram Gopal Varma, has high expectations from ‘Fashion’ Hindi movie. Madhur Bhandarkar is also confident about ‘Fashion’ Hindi movie and though it has been labeled as ‘Adult movie’ by the censor board, he is hopeful that it will be well received by both the audience and critics.
