Kidnap Hindi movie: Playing the role of kidnapper was not easy for Imran Khan
Playing the role of a kidnapper was not so easy for Imran Khan. On their first meeting, Sanjay Gadhvi and script writer, Shibani Bathija, selected Imran Khan for Kidnap Hindi movie. Interestingly, Imran Khan had no clue that he would be playing the role of a cold-blooded kidnapper.
The meeting was followed by a screen test where Imran Khan was given some scenes to enact and it was recorded on a 35mm camera.Imran Khan enacted the scenes but he was not satisfied with his performance for he could not relate to the character. Surprisingly, Imran Khan passed the screen test. Apun Ka Choice reports:
Imran says the character took shape in his mind very gradually and there came a point where he knew he had to create aggression inside him to play the role well.
Then what? Imran took the help of music. He began listening to heavy rock, death metal and grunge music. In addition, Imran tried to change his body language on the sets. He would sit and walk as if there was too much angst simmering inside him.
The rest is known to you all. People liked Imran Khan’s new look and his style and he was praised. This Thursday, Imran Khan will receive his final verdict when Kidnap Hindi movie hits the theatres.
