Belarus vs England World Cup Qualifying: Alexander Hleb Wants to Lead Belarus

Belarus captain is doubtful for the world up qualifying match against England on 15 October 2008 because of his foot injury. His club also asked him not to take part in the match against England. However, the fotmer Arsenal player thinks that he is feet enough to lead his country against England in Minks tomorrow and he is also determined that if he plays, Belarus will defeat England. He feels that Belarus is going to make a history against England.
Telegraph reported:
“Obviously, I very much want to play against England,” the Belarus captain said. “For us it is vitally important. Something tells me that we’re going to make it history for Belarusian football. My recovery is going much faster than was expected.”
“If I play, we are going to win, if not it’ll be a draw,” he said. “We can win only if we move fast enough. In each move our players must support each other.
“We shouldn’t give England any space. There must not be any holes in our defence. We should get to the ball ahead of them.”
Helb asked his team mates not to give any chance to England and he stressed on having a flawless defense and more control over all against England tomorrow. About his former Arsenal team mater Theo Walcott, Alex Helb thinks that Belarus would regret if they give any advantage to Walcott.
Now, it seems that Helb is going to take part in the matchm despite his club Barcelona’s worry for his foot injury.
