After outclassing the New Zealand team in the first one day match of the three-match series, Bangladesh team now has a very good opportunity to win an ODI series against a top level team like New Zealand. No doubt, Bangladesh team will be looking to build on their seven wicket victory in the first match. Under Mohammad Ashraful, it has been Bangladesh’s first victory against a top level team. Bangladesh can ensure series victory by winning Sunday’s match at the Shere Bangla National Stadium. The question is that will Bangladesh continue their winning run tomorrow as well?

Well, I think, it depends on how the senior members of the team perform tomorrow. I know you will argue here, claiming that Bangladesh got the victory on Junaid Siddique’s excellent batting. I must admit that Junaid Siddique played an excellent innings, revealing his class and talent, but if you look at the match closely you can see that Mashrafe Mortaza and Abdur Razzak brought the early momentum for Bangladesh and then Ashraful played a captain’s knock of unbeaten 60. So, I think, senior members of Bangladesh team must have to lead from the front. However, I think, New Zealand is favorite for the second ODI.
