Amitabh Bachchan is discharged from hospital. He is now resting at home.
Great news for Amitabh Bachchan fans, the megastar of Hindi cinema was finally discharged from the hospital. The actor is now staying at home, taking rest and recuperating. Amitabh Bachchan thanked all his fans for their continuous support and prayer. Though he was ill, he regularly contributed in his blog. He even wrote while he was in the hospital. In his blog, the actor wrote:
“My sincerest thanks to all who gave me strength to fight another medical battle. The fans and well-wishers. The media friends who wrote in on my mobile. Friends who visited me at the hospital and those that wrote in. Strangers who I never met or know…Your love overwhelms me. Your concern for my well-being humbles me. I owe so much to you,”
Amitabh Bachchan expressed his displeasure about media’s creating frenzy over the situation. The 66 year old actor said that when every body was silent, the media was asking for “exclusive shots.” They never understood the sensitivity of the situation. Amitabh Bachchan also said that it was the media people that gathered outside that day created a problem for him to arrive at the hospital.
On October 11, 2008, the legendary actor of Hindi cinema was rushed to the hospital after he complained about abdominal pain and breathlessness. First, he was taken to the Nanavati Hospital. From there, he was shifted to Lilavati Hospital. For a long time, Amitabh Bachchan has been suffering from incisional hernia. In 2005, he underwent an abdominal surgery. On Friday, the actor went home riding his own car. His wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan accompanied him.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had more reasons to be happy because yesterday, his father, Krishnaraj Rai was also released from Hinduja Hospital.
