Ajay Devgan will celebrate his Diwali by watching ‘Golmaal Returns’
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama correspondent, Ajay Devgan talked about his upcoming movie Golmaal Returns. Ajay Devgan is very happy to become part of a good project once again. In the beginning, they were very much hesitant about Golmaal Returns because it has to be funnier than Golmaal. They looked at many scripts and finally zeroed in on one. People have very high expectations from Golmaal Returns.
Sharman Joshi who rose to fame doing comedy movies was one of the original cast of Golmaal. As he was replaced by Shreyas Talpade in Golmaal Returns, every one was worried whether Shreyas Talpade would be able to act in a comic role but seeing his performance on the first day of the shooting, everybody was happy.
Ajay Devgan and Kareena Kapoor have worked in Omkara. Ajay Devgan also worked with Kareena Kapoor’s elder sister, Karisma Kapoor. He said:
It feels great. I’ve known her since many years now. It is very important for the co-actors to get along especially in a film like Golmaal Returns because you improvise a lot where humour is concerned and when you keep jelling and then pulling each others leg, it works both ways, isn’t it?
Golmaal Returns also has the famous stunt sequence of Ajay Devgan standing on two hummers. Ajay Devgan first did this stunt in his debut movie, Phool Aur Kaante, but that stunt was a bit different. In Phool Aur Kaante, he stood up on two motorcycles and stretched his legs. In Golmaal Returns, he stood up on two hummers.
