Working in Drona was a great experience for Dhruv Ghanekar
Bollywood movies are unthinkable without songs. Drona is the other movie that will release on Eid day with Kidnap Hindi movie. In Drona, Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra played the lead characters. The music of Drona is composed by Dhruv Ghanekar. This is his first movie project. According to Dhruv Ghanekar, the songs of Drona are made keeping the story of the movie in mind. He says that the songs actually travel with the movie and each one is very unique. Previously, Dhruv Ghanekar worked on creating music for the television content of Goldie Behl’s production company. As Goldie knew Dhruv for a long time, he approached him to work on Drona’s music.
The music album of Drona consists of five original tracks and two remix tracks. Dhruv Ghanekar sang the title song of the movie. Dhruv said:
“Goldie liked my voice and insisted that I sing it. I had given singing a backseat and concentrated on music composition over the years. When I was younger, I had sung jingles for Louis Banks and Vanraj Bhatia. Being a music director would always be my priority,”
According to Dhruv Ghanekar, Drona has been a fantastic experience because Goldie Behl gives lots of freedom to his fellow workers. He is a great person to work with.
Dhruv Ghanekar along with Ashutosh Pathak, established “Smoke Music Productions” two years ago. The company used to create music for advertisements, TV and feature films. Smoke Music ceased to exist as they have separated. Ashutosh Pathak is now working on Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie, Chandni Chowk to China.
