Special effects is the weak point of Drona
Drona is Abhishek Bachchan’s second movie and it is going release during Eid and the odds are quite high because on that same day, another high profile movie, Kidnap Hindi movie, will be released. Kidnap Hindi movie stars Imran Khan, Minissha Lamba and Sanjay Dutt. Imran Khan is immensely popular among the youngsters after his first movie, Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na. Young girls are crazy about him and the trailer of Kidnap Hindi movie has created lots of enthusiasm among the viewers.
On the contrary, Drona is no less inferior to Kidnap Hindi movie. Drona stars Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra, two of the most successful actors in current Bollywood. Movies like Drona are rarely made in Bollywood which makes it an exclusive movie to watch. In addition, director and producer, Goldie Behl left no stones unturned to make the movie a top class entertainer. He shot in exclusive locations, used lots of special effects. Goldie Behl even brought a famous dance troop from New Jersey to perform in one of the songs in the movie.
Now, the million-dollar question is- Is Drona going to set the box office on fire? Well, I do not know but many people are not showing optimism because Drona contains lots of special effects which is the movie’s weak point. Recently, Love Story 2050, a futuristic movie starring Priyanka Chopra and Herman Baweja had heavy special effects and it bombed at the box office. Bollywood movie makers are far behind Hollywood movie makers when it comes to using special effects. This is why many people are thinking that CGI effect is the weak point of the movie.
