Synopsis: Ru-Ba-Ru is the first movie directed by famous ad-film maker, Arjun Bali. It is a romantic thriller that deals with live-in relationship. Earlier, we have seen movies like Salaam Namaste, Pyaar Ke Side Effects that shows live-in relationships.
Nikhil (Randeep Hooda) and Tara (Shahana Goswami) are in a live-in relationship but Tara wants to take the relationship to the next level and from there problems start to happen. Nikhil is a workaholic and always remains busy with his clients. He keeps forgetting very small things which make up a good relationship. At one point, Tara could not take it anymore and decides to take matters in her own hands.
In any romantic movie, one would expect lots on screen display of intimacy between two people and Ru-Ba-Ru has it all. In the movie, Randeep Hooda and Shahana Goswami have ten kissing scenes. Till now, it was Mallika Sherawat who could boast with her on screen kisses but things have changed a lot. It looks like Bollywood actresses are becoming bolder. Both Randeep Hooda and Shahana Goswami tackled the whole thing like professionals. Shahana Goswami said:
”A kiss is an eternal sign of romance and love. ‘Ru Ba Ru’ being a modern love story of a couple who are living in relationship for two years, the intimacy and chemistry had to be right. It was a part of my job to authenticate the relationship on screen, and Randeep being a thorough professional made me very comfortable before each scene”.
Ru-Ba-Ru has three music directors: Satyadev Burman, Samirruddin and famous Pakistani band, Strings.The movie will be released on September 12.
