On September 26, 2008 Drona star, Abhishek Bachchan made a surprise appearance in reality TV show, Big Boss 2. Along with Abhishek Bachchan, Goldie Behl, his friend and director of Drona also attended the show. Abhishek Bachcan told Shilpa Shetty, host of Big Boss 2, that Drona is his most ambitious and biggest project till date.

Before Abhishek Bachchan met the contestants, they were assigned to decorate a mannequin as Drona, the central character of Abhishek Bachchan’s movie. Item girl, Payal Rohagti, one of the contestants of the reality show, knew about the movie and understood the purpose behind the task. She said:

Drona is the name of an upcoming film and has Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra. It must be a tie up.

Abhishek Bachchan then makes a surprise entry and all the members of the Big Boss 2 house became very much excited seeing someone from outside after a long time. Abhishek Bachchan brought a bag full of goodies for the participants. Sambhavna Seth made Abhishek Bachchan eat her dish and then prepared tea for her. Big Boss 2 is a reality show inspired from UK reality TV show, Big Brother.
