Sonam Kapoor refused to act in a movie with Ranbir Kapoor. Two reasons, first, in the movie, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will appear. Though Sonam Kapoor did not say that she would not do the movie for Ranbir Kapoor, every body knows that Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor were seeing each other before Deepika Padukone walked into Ranbir Kapoor’s life. Not only that, rumor has it that Deepika Padukone is very possessive by nature and she has made Ranbir Kapoor sever all ties with Sonam Kapoor. Another reason is Sonam Kapoor does not want to act is that it is a double heroine movie.

Sonam Kapoor’s secretary, Maumita, said that she would not do the movie because it was her personal choice. The movie, Mera Jahaan, is going to be directed by debutant director, Vicky Singh, who previously worked as Farhan Akhtar’s assistant director.Currently, Sonam Kapoor is working in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Dilli 6.
