Shah Rukh Khan’s Billo Barber and Karan Johar’s Dostana will release on same day
Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar have delivered some of the best Bollywood hits over the years. This November, the two friends will have a big clash at the box office. Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie, Billo Barber has been scheduled to release on November 14th. On that same day, Karan Johar’s movie, Dostana will release. Karan Johar, who comes from a family of movie makers, started his career as a co-writer in Aditya Chopra’s movie, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. He then went on to become a director and together with Shah Rukh Khan, he made movies like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham to Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Billo Barber which tells the story of friendship between a poor village barber and a movie star was supposed to release in Diwali weekend. As the shooting of the movie was not completed, the release has been postponed. Now, it has been scheduled to release on November 14th. Karan Johar’s Dostana is a love triangle starring Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, and John Abraham.
The main problem is if two big movies come on same day, one movie would suffer. Both Shah Rukh and Karan Johar are top movie makers in Bollywood and they would spend a lot in making their movies. If they want their movies to do good business then they would have to take some decisions to avoid the clash.
