Sania Mirza Not to Take Part in U.S. Open 2008 due to Wrist Injury
Indian tennis star Sania Mirza has pulled out of U.S. Open 2008, starting from 24 August 2008 due to wrist injury. Sania picked up the wrist injury that forced her out of the first round singles match at Beijing Olympic 2008. She had a surgery on her wrist in April and then came back to court after missing entire clay court season. Now, the star is going to miss year’s ending grand slam tournament as well because doctors advised her to take rest for three weeks in order to shake off the wrist injury. Sania Mirza expressed her disappointment saying that she had always done well in U.S. Open.
Sania Mirza reached the fourth round of U.S. Open 2005. However, the tennis sensation missed a lot of tennis action last year as well as this year due to injury. Now, she is going to miss another important tournament. No doubt, it is really disappointing for the Indian tennis fans who always want something special from Sania Mirza whenever she plays in the court. Now, let us see how long Sania Mirza will require to come back in tennis court overcoming the wrist injury.

It is really a sad news for any player to fall into injury before going to take part in any tournament. However, recently she went under surgery and need more two weeks to become cure. So, there is no way to take part in US open being all time best performer. I wish she should come back in Tennis sports recovered fully from injury.
