MSI Wind U90: the 8.9-in MSI Wind Revealed

MSI Wind PC (Wind U100) is a known 10-in mini laptop in the market. Since it was released, it has been four months and has maintained its popularity in the crowded market of mini laptops. So, MSI has saved enough room for the smaller brother of Wind PC called MSI Wind U90.

MSI Wind U90 has many similarities with Wind PC (Wind U100). In fact, it comes with every feature that Wind U100 sports. U90 differs from U100 only with its display.

Memory: 512MB or 1GB of DDR2 RAM

Hard Drive: 80GB hard drive

Display: 8.9-in display (1,024 x 600 resolution)

Network: 802.11b/g WiFi, optional Bluetooth, 10/100 Ethernet

Other: built-in 1.3M / 0.3M -megapixel webcam, stereo speakers, microphone, Ergonomic Big-Size Keyboard and Touch Pad

This laptop will be available in four colors.

Updates: The laptop comes with the same full-size keyboard of the 10-inch Wind U100.

The laptop will hit the European market at the end of September or beginning of October for 339 Euro.

First, it will be shipped with SUSE Linux OS and then, later the XP version will be rolled out.
