Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is going to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its Indian operation in September. With that end in mind, the company is going to organize a Trans-World Endurance Drive from Delhi to Paris. A total distance of 9,122-km will be covered in this drive. Starting from September 9, 2008, the drivers will travel through eleven countries including Turkey, Italy, and Germany. It will reach Paris by September 28.

Another major reason behind this Trans-World Endurance Drive is to test the company’s new car, the Hyundai i10 Kappa. For the drive, two left-hand side Hyundai i10 Kappa and two right-hand side Hyundai i10 Kappa will be used. The right-hand side cars will be used to drive inside India from Delhi to Chennai. The left-hand side will be used to drive in Europe. The two right-hand side cars will be sent to Turkey by air cargo. The two cars will be accompanied by a service car from distributors. An official from HIML service would join the drive.
