Greetings from Biplob Kishore Deb

I am Biplob Kishore Deb from Dhaka, Bangladesh. I am currently enrolled in B.A. Honors in English program at North South University. Though I am now studying English language and literature at university, I did not study Humanities in School and College. I had my school and college education in Business studies discipline.

I met my teacher Razib Ahmed (lead Blogger of SouthAsiaFair) in my very first semester at North South University in 2005. That time I barely had any knowledge about internet and blogging. Even my computer and English skill was poor. Initially I had intention to study Business, but Razib sir inspired me to study English.

It was Razib sir who brought me into blogging world in 2006. Over the last two years, I learned a great deal about computer, internet and blogging from Razib sir. Under his guidance, my English language skill has also been improved a lot in the course of time. In the last two years, I wrote in several blogs including Techtainment, where I mainly write about several sports including Soccer, cricket, tennis, boxing etc. Techtainment is now a successful blog with about 1000 subscribed readers and 1.5 million page views.

To tell the truth, I do not have brilliant result in my educational institutions. My academic results in School, College and University are average. Since my childhood, I have been an avid fan of sports, particularly cricket and soccer. Watching cricket and soccer matches on television is the most memorable experience of my childhood. I even dreamt of becoming a cricketer in my childhood.

Now, I am happy that I can write about sports, and this is perhaps one of the advantages of blogging that one can write about whatever he/she likes to or whatever he/she is interested to. I am really enjoying blogging.
