South Africa won the test series against England and this victory will definitely be a part of the history. In fact, this has been South Africa’s only third test series win in England and first since South Africa’s 1965 tour of England. Though South Africa lost the fourth and final test of the recently concluded series, the protease are still confident to continue their winning momentum in the upcoming Twenty20 match and ODI series against England.

For England, it was definitely a disappointing series. In fact, their recent form in test arena has not been good as they lost two out of their last four home series. However, the good news for England is that they have got a confident-booster win in the fourth test under their new captain Kevin Pietersen who himself was instrumental behind their victory in the fourth test. No doubt, Pietersen has been the most successful player for England in the test series. It is very important for a captain to lead his team from the front. I think, his current good form will help England to come back in the upcoming Twenty20 match and ODI series.

England suffered most because some of their key players were out of form at the same time. Now, Kevin Pietersen is in good form and he definitely can inspire the English players and is capable of getting the best out of each and every English players.

England will face South Africa in the only Twenty20 match of the tour on 20 August at Chester-Le-Street. Then on 22 August, the five-match ODI series will kick off. Now, let us see if England can really make a strong come-back in the Twenty20 match before the ODI series gets underway.
