Deepika Padukone is going to celebrate Ganesh Chathurthi with her family after three years
Bollywood’s latest heartthrob, Deepika Padukone, has been away from home for too long. The actress now looks forward to return to her hometown Bangalore and celebrate the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi festival with her family. After her debut Hindi movie, Om Shanti Om became a hit, Deepika became one of the busiest actresses in Mumbai. She was so busy that she could not even go home for the last three years. Deepika Padukone said:
“I’ve either been shooting out of the country or just been busy in Mumbai. It’s been a really hectic time for me. I haven’t been to my home in Bangalore for three years,”
Ganesh Chathurthi celebrates the birth of Ganesh, the Hindu god. This year, the festival will be observed on September 3. Deepika Padukone said that Ganesh Chathurthi is a big religious festival in Bangalore and for Deepika Padukone’s family it is special because all the family members who are living inside or outside Bangalore comes together to celebrate the festival. Many of Deepika Padukone’s relatives live in USA and they are also coming to attend the ceremony. For three years, the poor girl missed the occasion. This time, she is looking very much forward to spend some quality time with her family.
