Chandni Chowk To China: Akshay Kumar inspires Deepika Padukone
Till now, you have seen her as a cute, innocent woman. Now, you will see her as a tough woman kicking butts. Yes, Bollywood’s favorite actress, Deepika Padukone, has done some serious action sequences in her upcoming movie with Akshay Kumar, Chandni Chowk to China.
While shooting the movie, Deepika Padukone was very much inspired by Akshay Kumar and decided to do the action sequences herself. She was so inspired that she even did some action sequences without using the safety cables. In the beginning, director Nikhil Advani was a bit skeptical but he was in awe after Deepika Padukone effortlessly finished the shots. He said,
“It was a novel experience for Deepika. And she sailed through the action. She worked really hard to get the posture and power in the action scenes,”
Well, it is not the first time a heroine is inspired by Akshay Kumar to shoot action sequences. Ex-Miss Universe, Lara Dutta learned scuba diving for her action adventure, Blue, after being convinced by Akshay Kumar.
Chandni Chowk To China is based on Akshay Kumar’s life story. It revolves around a boy who was born and brought up at Chandni Chowk in Delhi and then goes to China.
